Music Video: Trae Tha Truth Feat. MDMA, Lupe Fiasco, Big Boi, Wale & Wiz Khalifa

Although this was a summer track, it’s still dope and easily one of the best music videos I’ve seen in a long time. Trae really is Tha Truth, as is the crew he threw on for this track. Peep that Bulls starter jacket Wiz is rockin’, though.

Wiz Khalifa Drops The “California” Video – First Release From Taylor Allederdice Mixtape

The first new post-Rolling Papers project for Wiz Khalifa is a new mixtape he’s working on called Taylor Allederdice. The tape’s first release is this smooth cut called California. Although I don’t hate on Rolling Papers, I’m hoping Wiz makes the tape sound more like Cabin Fever or Kush & Orange Juice rather than RP.

With Snoop and Wiz’s creative idea to drop both a movie and a album — Mac & Devin Go To High School — which is due out Dec. 13, it was only a matter of time until they released the music video to easily their hottest song off the album, “Young, Wild & Free” with Bruno Mars manning the hook. Check out the dope spot as these two drop it old school.

The new age Snoop Dogg and the old school Wiz Khalifa are dropping a couple of joint projects together: first, the Mac & Devin Go To High School movie and second, the Mac & Devin Go To High School soundtrack. With the right motivation, pot can lead to some dope stuff. See what I did with all that up there? Movie description and album tracklist is below. Check everything out on December 13th.

The film, set in a Los Angeles high school, sees Valedictorian hopeful Devin Overstreet (Wiz Khalifa) struggling to pen his graduation speech when it becomes clear that all his academic overachievements have left him with little to no real-life experiences. He finds an unlikely inspiration in the least-achieving student on campus, Mac Johnson (Snoop Dogg.) Mac, a 15-year senior and consummate ladies man, is smitten by the school’s new substitute chemistry teacher. He soon realizes that the only way he’ll truly have a chance with her is if he finally graduates high school.  In 3 weeks time, Mac must cram four years of high school academics, while Devin must cram four years of teenage experience.

This Is The LAST Episode To Wiz Khalifa’s DayToday Web Series

Wiz Khalifa and his Taylors have traveled quite a long journey together these past 24 months and through the Taylor Gang’s DayToday series they’ve been able to capture it all in a compelling web video series. It’s allowed Wiz to see what happened during his days (because you know he’s not even remembering what he had for breakfast each day) as well as his fans a peak into a day in the life of an emerging rap superstar. Even though this is the end of the series, I fully expect Wiz’s team (Rostrum Records) to go heavy on the viral content again, once Wiz starts working on his 2nd studio album. Rostrum has built a strong strategy of digital promotions that they’ve used to leverage and practically launch both Wiz’s and Mac Miller’s career.
