Over the weekend, the ever-untouchable Maybach Music Group were all in Charlotte, North Carolina for the CIAA (basketball tournament). Aside from shooting dice pre-concert and guest appearances from Wale, French Montana, Juelz Santana, Gunplay, ect., peep the video of Ross and Meek Mill performing “Finals” in front of a live crowd.

Music Video: Trae Tha Truth Feat. MDMA, Lupe Fiasco, Big Boi, Wale & Wiz Khalifa

Although this was a summer track, it’s still dope and easily one of the best music videos I’ve seen in a long time. Trae really is Tha Truth, as is the crew he threw on for this track. Peep that Bulls starter jacket Wiz is rockin’, though.
Video: Rapper Pill Explains Why He Left Maybach Music

I’m not exactly sure what Warner and Rick Ross had intentions to do with Pill, but it certainly wasn’t what he had hoped. They basically wasted dude’s time. Yes, he was put on the album, but what else? Like he stated in the video, Ross never pushed for anything of his the way that he did for Wale’s and Meek Mill’s. No where near it.
“I never really went on tour with them; I never really did anything with them,”
That’s the truest statement throughout the entire video. Pill is from the ‘A’ and that’s where he resides, but he never received any kind of invites to attend events. Yes, Ross is a “boss,” which in return makes it his job to make sure that his “employees” get those kinds of things.
Any chance Pill joins his four Freddie Gibbs over at C.T.E. (tell me that wouldn’t start some even more beef)?
Video: Meek Mill Talks About Joint Mixtape With Wale

Is there an artist out right now that’s hotter than Meek Mill and Wale? I’m not sure. J. Cole was hot for a while but ever since his album dropped, it’s been quite (his album wasn’t all that great). Drake? He’s still hot but not as demanding of more music as the Maybach artists.
The Philadelphia native, Meek Mill, had an interview with The Source and talked about the plans of doing a joint mixtape with Wale, despite them both being hot at the same time.
“Matter of fact, we were in the room just chilling, like playing freestyles for each other and just said let’s do a mixtape,” explained the MMG rapper. “We ain’t ego trippin’. We’re both hot at the same time and it’s only what makes sense and makes money.”
See, that’s what music should be about; putting all ego’s aside and making tracks for the fans to bob their heads too. Even Maybach Music president Rick Ross said he and Drake are planning on doing a joint tape as well entitled Y.O.L.O. One thing is for certain: Hip hop is hot right now.

I’ve always been a fan of Wale’s, even before he blew up major with Maybach Music. I loved his new album Ambition and he’s been featured on a bunch of bangers this season. Check out the new video for his track Chain Music. Oh, and peep that all white Lambo .. Yo Gottttttti!

This track was one of the illest off Third Power, Drama’s new album. Check out the spot above where Drama tells you what the video is about and Wale doing his thing while showin’ love to the homies over at Diamond Supply Co.
Mixtape: Ace Hood – The Statement 2
I’ve been one of the biggest Ace Hood fans since the front door. I’m talking about when he was virtually unknown and just a young kid hanging out with big guys like Rick Ross and DJ Khaled. The homie blew up, and big. His newest mixtape “The Statement 2″ dropped early this afternoon and there are definitely some bangers on here (Check out the “Body 2 Body” remix feat. Rick Ross & Wale). From when he first started and where he’s at now, you can definitely tell he’s gotten harder. So if you’ve only briefly listened to Ace, cop this joint and get to know his music a little bit better.

Music Video: Rick Ross Feat. Pill, Meek Mill, Torch & French Montana – Big Bank

One of the hardest tracks off of the newly formed group Maybach Music’s debut album “Self Made Vol. 1,” and it’s one of their best music videos yet. Glad to see the homie Pill getting some love in this spot, too. Seems like he’s the ugly duckling of the group while Ross, Wale and Meek get the majority of the spotlight. French Montana’s pink hat, though? .. Yeah
