While we were all enjoying seconds and thirds of our Thanksgiving feasts, Lupe Fiasco and Vado dropped some new music for their fans. As two artists on the complete opposite of the spectrum, the ever perspective rapping Lupe gave some sight into the more political and religion aspects of music while Vado kept it all Harlem and New York with features from Fabolous, Raekwon, Jae Millz, and others.  Download links below and then view the tracklists for the mixtapes after the jump.

Cam’Ron & Vado – Boss of All Bosses 2.8 (Mixtape)

This mixtape cover, though?! This can’t be serious. It makes me nervous to actually press download on the link and see if the music is actually on point or not. Cam released this on Twitter and said that this tape is a warm-up project before the October 5th release of Boss Of All Bosses 3. Features from the usual Dipset goonies including Jim Jones, Sen City, Hell Rell, J.R. Writer (oh how the mighty Diplomats have fallen) and others.  Download link and tracklist list is below:

Music Video: Vado – Always On (#TeamNIKE)

Shouts to honorary #TeamNIKE member Vado for giving the team this #AlwaysOn anthem. Put together by Nike Sportswear, the music video also features Team NIKE players Adris “Too Hard To Guard” and Quinton “T2″ Hosley.

Team Nike served as the inspiration for Vado’s summer anthem “Always On,” and this video shows members of the squad practicing what the lyrics preach. We see how Adris “2 Hard 2 Guard” DeLeon and Quinton “T2″ Hosley hold it down in the streets of New York City: they ride the subway, spend time with their families and, of course, get shots up in practice. “You gotta be dedicated everyday,” says T2, a Harlem native, describing his focused mentality. “Always be ready to perform.” At the end, we see the pair joining their teammates under the lights at Dyckman Park, the Uptown hoops mecca where Team Nike has been crushing opponents all summer. Pretty much every rapper not named Jay-Z, Kanye West, Tupac, or Biggie has a verse on DJ Khaled’s new album.  Usually these rap posse cuts sound forced and out of place but DJ Khaled usually does do a good job of putting them together.
