A few weeks ago, I announced that Verizon Wireless would have the exclusive rights to the Skype Mobile application for their cell phone carriers in their network. Here’s a nice little visual animation that explains how Skype Mobile will be able to save Verizon Wireless users minutes and money by using the Skype application.

If you’re into gadget news, you’ve probably heard by now that Skype has been releasing their newly updated mobile applications in the past few weeks. Unfortunately for everyone who uses a different provider than Verizon won’t be able to use Skype Mobile on your cell phone as Verizon has just locked up exclusive rights to Skype’s applications.
