This NikeTalk Secret Society – Live At SXSW Mixtape is a compilation of music from artist being featured to perform at this years “NT Secret Society SXSW Showcase 2011″ on Saturday, March 19th from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm at Mi Casa Cantina (503 E 6th Street Austin, TX 78701). This will be the first ever “NT Secret Society SXSW Showcase” and most likely one of many more in the future. The mixtape features new material from the upcoming acts that will be hitting the stage during the show including well known artist like Pill, Stalley and Killa Kyleon. Also featured are upcoming acts such as Ro Spit, Qualmes, G.o.D. Jewels, The Boy Illinois and many more. The purpose of this mixtape and showcase is to introduce the hip hop community to a taste of the future of hip hop and to get everyone familiar with the talents that will be furthering the genre in a better position. So if you’re in attendance at SXSW 2011 this year make sure you drop by the show and show support to pure talent. You’ve heard Volume 1, you’ve seen the preview, and you’ve heard the singles, and now it’s finally here – NikeTalk presents Secret Society: Volume 2. When the first installment of the Secret Society series dropped at the start of the year, the feedback we received exceeded all our expectations. The project served as quite the showcase for the artists involved, with some headlining their own shows and others being a part of events, such as A3C. With that being said, it was only right that we construct another project comprising of the best artists the society has to offer. Crack of Dawn x Joe Galvan x Random Acts of Flyness x The Real Just x Give The Drumma Some proudly present the second installment of the Secret Society series. The mixtape features several newcomers to the project such as Green Street, HIL Holla & Mikey Yuxx, as well as mainstays like TIME, Hi-Jynx, Hollywood Floss & Howard Flozstello. We’re also proud to announce that the society’s grind doesn’t stop here. A showcase featuring several artists on the tape is all but finalized for SXSW ’11 in Austin, Texas, so definitely stay tuned.

The NikeTalk family is back for round two of their Secret Society mixtape series. The first tape dropped in the beginning of January and was very well received throughout the internet. Vol. 2 is looking just as strong as new music from TIME, G.o.D. Jewels, Green Street, and more have already been confirmed.
