After the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Boston Celtics in a great game (especially the last two minutes of the fourth quarter) – none other than Ron Artest was the player chosen for the post game-on court TV interview.  After he made Craig Sager say Queensbridge a couple of weeks ago, everyone was expecting at least one more Queensbridge shout out.  Instead he quickly shouted out his hood, psychiatrist, and even promoted his new single Champion.  This dude does the best interviews ever.  He needs his own reality show!

Ron Artest told George Lopez he wanted to do something special for his appearance on The Lopez Tonight show so he grabbed the mic, dropped a beat, and performed some wack song.  Even though the song sucked, Ron Artest knew it, “I’ve been doing music for 10 years and been a failure ever since I started.”  This dude’s been cool in my book.

Ron Artest’s Opening Night Haircut

The NBA is back and so are the crazy hair cuts from Ron Artest.  Last night he rocked the Lakers “L” on the back of his head, Chinese symbols on the left side of his head that translate to “Champion,” and “Chatty,” on the right side of his dome to represent his childhood friend Mike Chatfield who passed away earlier this year.  Shouts to Dime on the pictures – click after the jump to see the other angles of his head (pause).
