It looks like David Stern and the NBA felt bad for LeBron bouncing on the Cleveland Cavaliers last summer so they laced them up with the winning of this year’s NBA Draft Lottery. The Cavs were represented by Cav’s owner, Dan Gilbert’s son Nick Glibert who is seen holding the jersey above. Due to a trade, the Cavs also hold the #4 pick in the draft. This draft position leaves them in a nice position to grab some solid talent and start building for the future. Let’s hope Gilbert does the right thing and gets Derrick Williams at #1 and then either point guard Brandon Knight or combo guard Kemba Walker at #4. Check out the rest of the lottery results below:
- Cleveland Cavaliers (from L.A. Clippers)
- Minnesota Timberwolves
- Utah Jazz (from New Jersey)
- Cleveland Cavaliers
- Toronto Raptors
- Washington Wizards
- Sacramento Kings
- Detroit Pistons
- Charlotte Bobcats
- Milwaukee Bucks
- Golden State Warriors
- Utah Jazz
- Phoenix Suns
- Houston Rockets
After dunking on clowns all year long, winning the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, and then now starring in commercial after commercial, this
guy monster Blake Griffin can not be stopped. He’s on a mission to dunk on any and everyone all while appearing on our TVs dunking during commercials too! He almost destroyed the career of Marcin Gortat last night and he he’s dunking in his new AT&T 4G and Subway commercial. I think he dunks in his sleep. Hit the jump for Griffin’s commercials.
Baron Davis to Blake Grtiffin for the alley-oop. Not the first time we’ve seen that this year and for sure not the last time. And make sure you’re speakers are on because the announcer drops some hilarious one liners!
Goran Dragic is starting to make a nice little name for himself out in Phoenix. After last year’s playoff explosion in one game, people started to really take notice of his talents and last night he displayed one of his sick passes for a between the legs dime to Hakim Warrick for the slam.
Unless you’re a relatively hardcore NBA fan, you probably won’t recognize the names Joey Dorsey and Earl Clark. If you don’t know, they’re both forwards respectively on the Toronto Raptors and Phoenix Suns. I don’t know about you but I’m pretty happy basketball season is back just for posterization plays like this.

If in about 3-8 months from now I’m posting a meaningless clip from a Philadephlia 76ers and Phoenix Suns game of Andre Iguodala posterizing Leandro Barbosa – it’ll be because of this play where Barbosa broke Iggy’s ankles in yesterday’s Brazil vs Team USA game.
Even though we’re in the middle of the World Cup frenzy, I’m sure Nash will have some surprises in store for the fans. At least three NBA ballers are already confirmed to play – Brandon Jennings (Milwaukee Bucks), Tony Parker (San Antonio Spurs), and Jared Dudley (Phoenix Suns). I’m sure other players will be rolling through too since the NBA Draft is this Thursday. I’ll definitely be rolling through to take in the action so say what up if you see me. It’s going down at Nike Football x Sara D Roosevelt Park on Houston Street (in between Chrystie and Stanton street).
NBA stars. Soccer’s best. An urban field. A sweet 8-a-side game of futbol in the middle of a city benefiting children’s programs on three continents.

After Ron Artest hit the game winning putback last night, he made sure to rep his hood – Queensbridge. And he made Craig Sager rep his hood too! The bridge is not over! I bet the Phoenix Suns wish it was…
