In a continuation to dumb down their content, MTV is bringing back Beavis And Butthead this year. I was a little too young for the couple seasons but now that it’s 2011, I might tune in because lord knows I love my dumb MTV shows (Jersey Shore, The Challenge, etc.)

Congrats to Wiz Khalifa, his team around him (Arthur, Will), and the Taylor Gang fans for choosing Wiz as MTV’s Hottest Breakthrough Artist of 2010. Well deserved homie!
Wiz himself is quick to acknowledge their efforts. Over the weekend, MTV News caught up with Wiz at his crib in Pittsburgh, where he watched MTV2’s “Sucker Free Summit” with friends and family, and he explained he owed all his success to his fans.
“It’s a great thing to be recognized on that level, and really just by my fans,” said Wiz. “That award right there, I feel it was real special to me, because I feel like my whole career has just been based off my fans. My fans just really came through and they just pushed me over.” MTV

Travis Barker was on the set filming Carry It off his solo album “Give The Drummer Some.”
“The song started with RZA and I in my studio, with him playing guitars and me playing drums, just jamming out,” Barker explained. “Then I got Raekwon on it, and I showed it to Tom Morello, who was stoked on it, so he played on it. And that’s how I wanted the video to be.There was never any corny ideas [for the video],” Barker smiled. “[It's] just us rocking out. That’s what’s good about it. The track’s raw; it’s not candy-coated. … This is like ‘punch you in the face,’ real hype music. Barker (MTV)”

I’m not surprised at how badly MTV’s Real World has fallen off just like the network has. I only caught a few episodes of last season and it sucked and this year’s season looks even worse.
