Whoever said Plax didn’t have anything left just don’t know. Although he only has 37 catches this season since he’s returned to the NFL after spending time in prison, he still has over 500 received yards and 8 touchdowns. The Jets got manhandled by Michael Vick and the Eagles on Sunday, but check out this crazy one-handed catch from Plax in the end zone.

What’s Twitter Beef? Ask These Two Philadelphia Eagles Reporters

Everyone online has a Twitter beef now and then but most of the time it dies and fizzles out before anyone actually pops off in real life. But in the City of Brotherly Love, Twitter beef is handled in the streets locker room of the Philadelphia Eagles. Here’s the play by play, Philadelphia Inquirer writer Jeff McLane called Philadelphia Daily News writer Les Bowen ”an old hack” on Twitter, which prompted Bowen to reply in a tweet “I will handle my business in person, not thru yapping on Twitter. But thanks for your concern.” And that he did. You can see in the video above while everyone’s interviewing Michael Vick, Bowen starts calling for McLane’s head and then Howard Eskin of NBC 10 and WIP reports via Twitter that Bowen “connect[ed] 2 the head” of McLane, and that the two had to be separated. Nike Re-Signs Michael Vick To An Endorsement Deal

Darren Rovell broke the news that Nike has officially re-signed Philadelphia Eagle Quarterback Michael Vick to an endorsement deal. The Swoosh dropped Vick after the whole dog / jail incident but is now the first ever company to resign an athlete after they’ve been dropped in the past. Vick has had a remarkable comeback so I’m excited to see what the designers come up with for Vick to rock this season (if there is one).

Peyton Hillis Wins The Vote To Cover Madden 12

I was wrong, and I don’t usually admit I’m wrong but I was wrong. I thought EA Sports would rig the Madden 12 cover boy vote to have Michael Vick win but they went with the shock value and actually counted all 13 million finalist votes and handed the cover to Cleveland Brown’s running back Peyton Hillis.  Hillis accepted the W on live TV on ESPN2′s SportsNation as Vick stood by and supported.  Check out a photoshopped image of the cover below.  We’ll post the real thing once it get’s released.

Madden 12 Cover Finals Vote: Peyton Hillis vs. Michael Vick

And the Madden 12 Cover Vote bracket is down from 32 to the final TWO – #10 seed Peyton Hillis and #3 seed Michael Vick. I have a feeling EA Sports is going to rig this and the running back for the Cleveland Browns will NOT be gracing a big time videogame cover anytime soon. Hillis had a great year and all but he’s no where near as marketable a player as Vick is. Besides, the Eagles are a lot more popular of a team than the Browns and Vick is back in superstar status after his remarkable comeback year.

With all that said though, Vick still isn’t a lock. He’s already had his own Madden cover (2004 when he was an Atlanta Falcon) and some of the public (*cough* PETA *cough*) still hates his dog fighting / killing guts. The only way we’ll get a true winner is if you, the Madden game lover, engage in your American right and VOTE!

DeSean Jackson Embarrasses The Dallas Cowboys

DaSean Jackson went 91 yards on a touchdown pass from Michael Vick and right before stepping into the endzone, he did what he knows best – stunt on opposing defenses.  Poor Cowgirls.  To make things even worse, Cowboys’ rookie Tashard Choice asked the homie Mike Vick to autograph his gloves after the game.  Where they do that at?!  Hit the jump to see that video.
