Video: Rapper Pill Explains Why He Left Maybach Music

I’m not exactly sure what Warner and Rick Ross had intentions to do with Pill, but it certainly wasn’t what he had hoped. They basically wasted dude’s time. Yes, he was put on the album, but what else? Like he stated in the video, Ross never pushed for anything of his the way that he did for Wale’s and Meek Mill’s. No where near it.

“I never really went on tour with them; I never really did anything with them,”

That’s the truest statement throughout the entire video. Pill is from the ‘A’ and that’s where he resides, but he never received any kind of invites to attend events. Yes, Ross is a “boss,” which in return makes it his job to make sure that his “employees” get those kinds of things.

Any chance Pill joins his four Freddie Gibbs over at C.T.E. (tell me that wouldn’t start some even more beef)?

Music Video: Cory Gunz Feat. Meek Mill – “YMCMB MMG”

Cory Gunz is that dude for putting this track together with the hottest artist (besides the boss himself, Rick Ross) in Maybach Music, Meek Mill. There’s nothing quite like a dope song that comes with a well-put-together music video.

Illest line of the song: “N*ggas sleepin’ on me, guess I’ll get my Freddy on.”

This was another dope track off Ludacris’s recent mixtape — 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time — that featured Maybach Music’ rising star Meek Mill and was produced by recent Taylor Gang signee and former 3-6 Mafia member, Juicy J. Peep the video as both get goonish on a few folks with a Jigsaw mask.

Video: Meek Mill Talks About Joint Mixtape With Wale

Is there an artist out right now that’s hotter than Meek Mill and Wale? I’m not sure. J. Cole was hot for a while but ever since his album dropped, it’s been quite (his album wasn’t all that great). Drake? He’s still hot but not as demanding of more music as the Maybach artists.

The Philadelphia native, Meek Mill, had an interview with The Source and talked about the plans of doing a joint mixtape with Wale, despite them both being hot at the same time.

“Matter of fact, we were in the room just chilling, like playing freestyles for each other and just said let’s do a mixtape,” explained the MMG rapper. “We ain’t ego trippin’. We’re both hot at the same time and it’s only what makes sense and makes money.”

See, that’s what music should be about; putting all ego’s aside and making tracks for the fans to bob their heads too. Even Maybach Music president Rick Ross said he and Drake are planning on doing a joint tape as well entitled Y.O.L.O. One thing is for certain: Hip hop is hot right now.

One of the hardest tracks off of the newly formed group Maybach Music’s debut album “Self Made Vol. 1,” and it’s one of their best music videos yet. Glad to see the homie Pill getting some love in this spot, too. Seems like he’s the ugly duckling of the group while Ross, Wale and Meek get the majority of the spotlight. French Montana’s pink hat, though? .. Yeah

Music Video: Meek Mill Feat. Rick Ross – Work

After spending the weekend in New York, what’s better to come home to than seeing your favorite rapper skimmin’ across the the crystal blue waters that’s protected by the the Port of Miami — topless, mind you — with a couple bad Brazilian chicks? If that’s “work,” then I’m in the wrong profession.

And to keep you in Meek Mill mode, check out his new cameo in Noreaga’s music video for Scared Money after the jump. Pusha T is also involved…
