illRoots just posted this ill video of Lupe Fiasco explaining his clothing line Trilly & Truly and their spring / summer offering and the themes behind them.
To follow up our profile with Ibn Jasper, we caught up with Lupe Fiasco on set of the recent RSVP Gallery lookbook video shoot for Trilly & Truly’s Basic Info. For the Spring/Summer run of merchandise, Lupe decided to stick with a simplistic theme that focused more around iconic imagery than complex design. A true innovator in both fashion and music, Lupe goes in depth on his clothing line, how he separates the two and what he hopes people will take from it.
If you like the products shown in the above video, be sure to check out Lupe’s Red Box now at RSVP Gallery.

Lupe Fiasco has publicly stated (through Twitter of course) that he has finished recording his Lasers album and the release is now all in the hands of his record label – Atlantic Records. It seems Atlantic hasn’t made a sincere effort to push forward the release of the CD so Lupe fans have hit the internet hard and created this online petition asking fans to sign in efforts of Atlantic to take notice and drop the album. Add your signature here.
To: Atlantic Records
Dear Atlantic Records,
The fans have been below have been waiting for the release for Lupe Fiasco’s album “Lasers” for over a good year now. Since when it was originally announced finished last summer, there has still yet to be a release date announced. It has even been stated by Lupe Fiasco the artist himself, that the album si in fact completed. Enough is enough, we demand that you stop playing around and give us the album that we have been highly anticipating since the release of The Cool.
Sincerely,
Sasha Green Ft. Lupe Fiasco – Dirty Rose

Lupe Fiasco joins Sasha Green on this new track Dirty Rose. Sasha was a label mate of Lupe when he was running 1st & 15th before they dismantled. Also, all of you Lupe fans should be excited because Lasers has been completed so it’s now all up to when Atlantic Records decide to release it. Download link below:
