Leave it up to the tech geeks in China to be the ones to first bootleg Apple’s iPad.  For $105 on the streets in China, you can get your own iPed (the manual that comes with it is labeled APad though?!) that looks exactly like the real thing but is powered by an Intel chip and run’s on Google’s open source operating system Android.  I wonder how long these will take to hit Canal Street…

PCMag’s iPad Review

At first, I thought PCMag’s iPad review would be biased because they’re a PC publication but they weren’t at all one bit.  It sounds and looks like the iPad is the real deal in terms of coolness but definitely not a necessity, especially if you have an iPhone or a laptop.
