Diesel: “Only The Brave” Starring Common, Vado & Big Sean

Diesel concluded their Only The Brave Fragrance campaign last night at New York City’s Gotham Hall where Common, Vado, Big Sean, and Donnis performed in front of a rocking crowd.  I had prior arrangement’s so couldn’t attend but I’ve heard nothing but it being a great event so shouts to my boy Brent for the invite.  The clip above is the 4 rappers freestyling with The Rapture and after the jump is footage of Common, Vado, and Big Sean’s performances caught on camera via RTNY.

While out in Los Angeles recently, we linked up with Donnis and Curt@!n$ at a North Hollywood recording studio. We explained the concept of illRoots2, and went forth in shooting a music video for the Tony Williams assisted song ‘Outta Here’ off the Fashionably Late mixtape which drops on this Tuesday (June 22nd). Later that night, only hours after first hearing the record, we made our way to The Standard and began work on the video.
This is one of a few music videos we’ll be releasing in conjunction with illRoots2, which is our relaunch that’s coming later this summer. Stay tuned, we’re excited!

Belvedere Vodka Presents: A Day In The Life of Fools Gold

Belvedere Vodka and 13thWitness continue their A Day In The Life series (previous – Wale) as they filmed Fools Gold record label artists such as DJ A-Trak and Donnis during their 2010 Coachella Music Festival performances.

DJ A-Trak, Donnis,  Nick Catchdubs, Dave 1 of Chromeo linked up with 13thWitness at Coachella 2010, to produce the second installment of a “Day in the Life” video , presented by Belvedere. The video follows the Fool’s Gold team as they explain the reasons behind performing at Coachella—at private parties, away from the main stage—and features a performance of Donnis rocking his single “Gone.”

2010 Converse Band of Ballers – Atlanta, Georgia

The second ever Converse Band of Ballers basketball tournament is going down this Saturday at a private location in Atlanta, Georgia.  Musicians and their entourages will compete in a 3 on 3 tournament in hoping to dethrone Jim Jones and The Jones Family who won last year’s event.  After the jump check out videos of Jim Jones and God Shammgod calling everyone out while Team Bad News (Sean Price, Jay Electronica, and Donnis) and Team Southern Hospitality (Shawty Lo, OJ Da Juiceman, and Pill) respond to The Capo’s challenge.

XXL Magazine – Freshmen ’10 Live Concert

What better way to get to know the 2010 freshmen hip hop class than at a live concert?  DJ Envy will be hosting the event that’s going down on Wednesday March 31st at 9PM at New York City’s The Highline Ballroom.  Nipsey Hussle, Pill, Jay Rock, Donnis, Big Sean, and Freddie Gibbs are already scheduled to perform but don’t be surprised if any of the other four freshmen make a surprise appearance.
