Drake put out a classic, despite it leaking, when he released his sophomore album Take Care back in October (Damn, it’s been that long already?). Last I heard back in November, Drake’s album sales were at 631,000, making it the third-best-selling debut of the year behind Lady Gaga’s Born This Way (1.1 million) and Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV (964,000). Like I said, that was back in November so who knows where it’s at now. As for the December 2011/January 2012 cover for Complex Magazine, I think it’s interesting that they chose a “kinda blue” theme since everyone dogs Drizzy for being “too in-touch” with his feelings in songs. But why should that matter? Dude puts out nothing but hits judging buy his album sales being well over 600k, right?

As for Mrs. Patton over there (who is married to R&B singer Robin Thicke), she’s just sexy. She’s not one of the most well known actresses per say such as a Sandra Bullock, but has been featured in some pretty solid flicks: Idlewild (2006), Déjà Vu (2006), Mirrors (2008), Swing Vote (2008), Precious (2009), Just Wright (2010), Jumping the Broom (2011), and Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011). With her new role in Mission: Impossible, playing alongside Tom Cruise and Jeremy Renner, she has taken the world by storm at the moment.

Yes Gucci Gucci, was a hot song beat filled with ignorant lyrics and a catchy hook but at the end of the day Kreayshawn is still a gimmick rapper that I would be willing to bet my rent on that she won’t be around in 6-12 months. I haven’t heard one song besides the aforementioned and I haven’t heard one person reference one other song besides the aforementioned. And besides – we can’t take her seriously especially when she’s dropping quotes like this in her new Complex Magazine cover story:

She says she also picked up some less-than-legal side hustles: selling coke and Craigslist pimping. “I quit IKEA and started trapping full-time,” she recalls. “I was driving around in a pink Mustang at two in the morning, no license, with like two 15s in the trunk, serving knots. Then these girls I met, they were on their hustle, too. They brought me this new idea, it was safer than selling drugs. I posted the links for them, took the anonymous pictures, and set up the dates and prices.” According to Kreay, that gig ended when older, more experienced Oakland pimps took over her clientele, so she returned to dealing full-time.

I love my body because I used to not be as curvy. I used to get made fun of for being so short and completely flat-chested. I prayed every day. All I wanted was to have big boobs and to be tall. Since I got what I wanted I’m very happy about it.

Jim Jones hit up the new Flight Club NYC with one of Complex Magazine’s editors Joe La Puma.  The Capo might have the best / funniest adlibs in the game.  And LMAO at him saying he thought the Jeremy Scott’s was Yeezy’s College Dropout Bear and him only wearing those Altitude’s once and then throwing them away.

The cover’s so good we gave it it’s own post! Everyone’s favorite weed smoking rapper poses next to everyone’s favorite weed smoking actor for the latest cover of Complex Magazine. Wiz Khalifa and Danny McBride (Eastbound & Down, Pineapple Express) did this shoot recently, which must have been hilarious to be at, and the the cover came out pretty dope.
