Damn Gerald, that’s the second time you’ve gotten dunked on in less than 10 days! If you weren’t half a second late, you might of been able to block that dunk butsince you were late, Marcus Thornton gave you the BUSINESS on that dunk!  On the bright side, your going to the playoffs with that win over the Hornets last night!  Shouts to Dime.

That is what you get Gerald Wallace for your weak ass performance at this year’s Slam Dunk Contest.  Props to Chris Bosh for throwing it down on Crash!  Shouts to Dime!

Josh Smith Makes Theo Ratliff Duck Out of The Way

Charlotte Bobcats’ Theo Ratliff knew better than to try to contest this cram from Atlanta Hawks’ Josh Smith. About five years ago, Ratliff probably would have tried to contest this dunk, seeing as he was an elite shot blocker in his prime. It’s too bad it wasn’t five years ago though…

Charlotte Bobcats’ rookie Gerald Henderson beat his boss Michael Jordan in a game of HORSE not once but twice.  If you didn’t know, Michael Jordan now has full ownership of the team so Gerald is most likely going to get dropped this summer because we all know that MJ hates to lose.  Hit the jump for the second game of HORSE between the two and props to the homies at Dime for the find.

2010 NBA All-Star Saturday Night Recap

Last night was one of the worst dunk contests in a long time.  All four dunkers didn’t bring any creativity or excitement to the contest.  We were all hyped to see Shannon Brown get up in the air but he flopped and didn’t do anything excited.  Gerald Wallace did dunks that I’ve seen pulled off at my school’s rec center and Nate was Nate while Demar DeRozan had a couple of highlights but nothing spectacular.  I think the highlight of the night was seeing Paul Pierce win the 3-point shootout.  Hit the jump for the 1st round of the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest and the Three Point Shootout.

2010 NBA Dunk Contest Participants Announced

Nate Robinson returns to this year’s NBA Slam Dunk Contest to try to become the first ever three time winner of the event.  He’ll be joined by the Los Angeles Laker’s Shannon Brown, the Charlotte Bobcat’s Gerald Wallace, and either the Toronto Raptors’ DeMar DeRozan or the Los Angeles Clippers’ Eric Gordon.  Although there aren’t any superstars in this year’s event (like LeBron), I think this will still be a solid contest – as each of the participants are athletic as hell and can get above the rim.  I’m calling Gerald Wallace to win the event over favorites Nate Robinson and Shannon Brown.
