The Blueprint 3 Will Be Released On Sept 8, 2009

Jay-Z’s “Blueprint 3″ has been pushed up to a release date of 9/8/09 instead of 9/11/09 probably due to the early leak and bootlegging.  Make sure you get that CD and look out for Jay’s Blueprint 3 Tour.

Sorry for flooding today with Jay-Z stuff but here’s his new commercial with Rhapsody in which he re-creates all of his album covers in a single photo shoot.

Jay-Z has teamed up with Rhapsody® and MTV to promote the highly-anticipated release of his new album, “The Blueprint 3.” As part of the partnership, the entire album will be available for fans to listen to for free on Rhapsody.com and from MTV’s “The Leak”, almost two weeks prior to its official release. In addition, Rhapsody will also make the new album available for purchase beginning September 8, three days ahead of the street release, and will include two exclusive bonus tracks.

Leading this partnership, three new Rhapsody TV spots will debut starting on September 1 across MTV Networks. In addition to two 30-second ads, Rhapsody will premiere a 60-second version of the ad in the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards on September 13.

Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 Track List

A lot of features on the album and I’m disappointed not to see Nas on “Empire State of Mind” like rumored and MGMT no where on the track list.  Maybe MGMT might just be doing work on the production side though so I’m not mad at that if that is true.  Obviously Alicia, Swizz, Pharrell, and Mr. Hudson will be doing the hooks on their songs but I wouldn’t be surprised to see if Jeezy and CuDi also were just restricted to recording the hooks for the tracks they’re featured on.
