Wale’s debut album Attention Deficit was a disappointment in many of his fan’s (and label’s) eyes but it looks like the DMV rapper has turned his careeraround after signing to Maybach Music Group and is looking to have a strong sophomore album release in Ambition. The album hits iTunes pre-order tonight at Midnight and will officially be released on November 1st, 2011. Look out for his new single with Miguel, as well as songs with MMG comrades Rick Ross, Meek Mill, and friends Big Sean, Jeremih, and even once-hated-now-rapper-best-friends-again KiD CuDi.

Wiz Khalifa & Big Sean Perform In Central Park

While I wish  that I was at the Jeezy concert last night, this Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean concert on the Central Park Summer Stage wasn’t a bad 2nd option at all. Both artists are on the come up and have had great years. Big Sean opened for Wiz and went through a few mixtape cuts before jumping into his new songs from Finally Famous: The Album. Not long after Big Sean cleared the stage, Wiz came out and ran through everything from Rolling Papers, Kush & Orange Juice, Cabin Fever, and even older stuff. Big Sean also joined him on stage for Gangbang.  Hit the jump for some more of the better performance videos I found on YouTube.

DJ Khaled – We The Best Forever (Tracklist)

Pretty much every rapper not named Jay-Z, Kanye West, Tupac, or Biggie has a verse on DJ Khaled’s new album.  Usually these rap posse cuts sound forced and out of place but DJ Khaled usually does do a good job of putting them together. I guess he does have one decent skill besides being annoying.  Check out the tracklist for We The Best Forever coming out on July 19th.

Last night at Big Sean’s album release show in New York City’s Irving Plaza, the kid from Detroit brought out his idol and boss Kanye West to perform Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay.  Everyone and their mom’s is loving this new song so expect to hear it all summer long. Everyone who’s anyone was their supporting Sean last night so I think the kid’s Finally Famous. And you know you made it once you get mobbed at a store (Adidas) appearance.  The new album comes out next Tuesday the 28th.

A paycheck is a paycheck! Because I’ve never see Big Sean rocking any Adidas sneakers before. In fact, he sure does a lot of rapping and talking about his favorite Jordan’s and Nike’s. Dear Derrick Rose and management, please drop the three stripes and come on over to the swoosh!

CyHi The Prince – Royal Flush 2 (Mixtape)

I don’t really see the talent in CyHi The Prince but I guess Kanye West and the rest of the G.O.O.D. Music conglomerates do and I know some of you fans do as well.
