Besides President Obama, the rest of those faces in that photo aren’t too recognizable but they’re the brains behind different digital platforms that the world uses every second, every minute, and every day.  This picture was taken from a United States Technology Business Leaders at a dinner in Woodside, California last week. Is Zuckerberg going to go home and tag all of his new friends on this photo?!  Did Costolo try to make this dinner a #TT?!  What did they eat?!  Did they all laugh that no one from Foursquare was there?!  Do Google and Apple have beef?!

President Obama, Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook CEO), Valerie Jarrett (Whitehouse Advisor), Dick Costolo (Twitter CEO), Carol Bartz (Yahoo CEO), John Hennessey (Stanford Pres.), Reed Hastings (Netflix CEO), Larry Ellison (Oracle CEO), John Doerr (VC, who’s house they were in), John Chambers (Cisco CEO), Art Levinson (Genentech/Roche board of directors), Eric Schmidt (Google CEO), Ann Doerr (wife of John), Steve Westly (VC), Steve Jobs (Apple CEO)

Time to shoot over to the Apple store and upgrade my MacBook Pro!  Brand new specs – bigger, faster, and just 100% better than their competition.  R.I.P. to the competition.

State-of-the-art Intel processors

The 15 and 17 inch MacBook Pro now feature quad-core Intel Core i7 processors. And the 13-inch models jump to dual-core Intel Core i5 and i7 processors.  That means all three models are up to twice as fast.

Thunderbolt – The next generation of I/O

New Thunderbolt technology lets you connect high-performance peripherals and high-resolution displays to a single port – with data transfer rates up to 10Gbps.

Game-changing graphics

AMD Radeon graphics processors on the 15″ and 17″ MacBook Pro are up to 3x faster than those in previous models, so you can take everything from games to CAD to HD video projects anywhere.

FaceTime goes HD

Now you can use FaceTime to make full-screen HD video calls that are astonishingly crisp.  And thanks to the new widescreen format, you can get your friends in the picture, too.

Window’s users call their software “Programs”, while Apple users calls their software “Apps,” and with that said, the Mac App Store is now LIVE and operational.  If you’re running Snow Leopard, all you need to do is update your latest software and you’ll have the Mac App Store.  To do so, click the apple button at the top left, and then hit software update.

The Mac App Store is just like the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. So it’s as easy to find and download Mac apps as it is to add your favorite magazine to iPad or a new game to iPod touch. You can browse Mac apps by category, such as games, productivity, music, and more. Or do a quick search for something specific. Read developer descriptions and user reviews. Flip through screenshots. When you find an app you like, click to buy it.

Oh Steve Jobs…Apple made these two videos to show that their iPhone 4 isn’t the only device that can suffer from service loss by griping the bottom left of the phones.  Above is them showing the Verizon Droid X with the problem and also the Nokia N97 which can be seen after the jump.  Maybe we should all just settle for a BlackBerry or HTC Evo.
