Sleek Audio Drops The “Sleek By 50″ Headphones Line

Sorry Curtis but it looks like Sleek Audio did some market research analysis and concluded that no one was going to buy your Beats By Dre knockoff headphones – Sleek By 50. Not only did they drop 50 Cent but they dropped the whole G-Unit licensing agreement. G-G-G-G-U-NOT!

Sleek Audio today announced the termination of the Brand License Agreement between Sleek Audio LLC (“Sleek”) and G-Unit Brands, Inc. (“G-Unit”), 50 Cent’s licensing company. In addition, the Brand License Agreement, including video production, between TV Goods, Inc, Sleek and G-Unit has also been terminated.

“We will be re-evaluating our Wireless Hybrid over-the-ear headphones at a later date. Currently we are working to bring our new, U.S.-made in-ear products to the market,” said Mark Krywko, CEO of Sleek Audio.

Introducing: Uber50 Twitter Application

It’s Fifty aka Uber50. Rapper / business man Curtis Jackson has teamed up with UberSocial (Twitter application makers of UberSocial, Tweetdeck, Echofon, Twidroyd, and others) to make a 50 Cent themed Uber50 Twitter application. The application is pretty much UberSocial (BlackBerry users will be familiar with this one) but with 50 Cent themed skins and other G-Unit type branding. Twitter has become an important way for me to communicate with my fans and for my fans to communicate with each other. We’re all big users of UberSocial on the BlackBerry and already use many of their current themes to customize the look of the app, so it was natural for me to work with UberMedia to develop a special theme.

So much good music has released lately and it’s getting kinda hard to keep up with but if you only download 1 project – make it Pusha T’s first solo one, Fear of God.  This flows more like an album and with production and features from Hitboy, Inkredibles, Rick Ross, Kevin Cossum Tha Bizness, Nottz, The Neptunes, 50 Cent, and Kanye West it might as well be an album.  Download link and tracklist is below:

50 Cent vs. The CEO of World Star Hip Hop

Check out this hilarious video of 50 Cent sounding off on the CEO of World Star Hip Hop.  I’m personally not the biggest fan of WSHH so don’t like to refer to him as the CEO but it is what it is.  Reasons why I’m not a fan? They clearly bit (free)onSMASH’s whole business plan and model, charge to get videos posted, steal videos, and do unethical stuff like fake the number of video impressions to false justify their pricing models.  I guess the point of this video is 50 Cent and “Q” from WSHH got some sort of beef but I could care less.  It’s just funny to hear 50 Cent’s outlandish threats over the phone.
