I saw this on ESPN today and had to find it! Check out Emanuele Giaccherini of Juventus Cesena missing a WIDE open goal. That’s pretty much the equivalent of Preston Knowles blowing this dunk against UConn the other night. Sorry Louisville fans…

It’s not March Madness unless we have Gus Johnson going crazy over a game winner. Not to out do Kemba Walker but Isaiah Thomas lifted Washington over Arizona for the Pac-10 Championship with this incredible lefty fadeaway as time expired.

Please tell me you saw this last night! In ESPN’s 30 For 30′s latest, Director Jason Hehir analyzed the five University of Michigan Freshmen basketball players that went on to revolutionize college hoops as we know it. Watch and listen to Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Jimmy King, and Ray Jackson tell their story. Overall, this was one of the better 30 For 30′s and only would have been perfect if Chris Webber participated too. Hit the jump for part 2 of the rest of the video.

Video: Kemba Walker’s Amazing Game Winner Against Pitt

This is what March Madness is all about! Poor Gary McGhee got stuck on a mismatch as Kemba Walker ended up breaking McGhee’s ankles by giving him that New York crossover, that New York step back, and that New York jumper to win the game as the time ran out. I called it days ago but I got UConn winning the Big East Tournament. The Freshmen have been playing strong and this is Kemba’s city so he won’t let his Huskies go down with out the title.
Side note – I need someone to explain this to me…Kemba Walker is in the discussion for NCAA Player of The Year yet doesn’t win his conference’s (Big East) Player of The Year award. No knock to Ben Hansborough but he’s not in the Player of The Year discussions…at all…
Awful Referee Calls Vol. Rutgers Got Screwed

Awful, awful, awful referring at the end of yesterday’s St. Johns and Rutger’s Big East Tournament Game. Rutger’s really got screwed as the refs missed a travel, an out-of-bounds, AND a Technical which would have been huge in turning the game around for Rutger’s.

(The) Ohio State University, the #1 team in the country, is led by Jared Sullinger, Jon Diebler, and Aaron Craft – three HUGE fans of Miley Cyrus. I guess as long as they stay winning, other team’s can’t really say anything. Party in the O-S-U…

Watch as Tennessees’ Scotty Hopson almost literally leap over South Carolina’s Brian Richardson. No blocking foul, no offensive foul, just a-near-clean-leap over the player for a solid posterization play.
