Gerald Green only has 4 fingers!!! Google it!!! The former Boston Celtic is making the most of his 10-day NBDL call-up with the New Jersey Nets and I’m sure his opportunity will continue if he keeps making highlight plays like this.

Video: Derrick Rose Sinks The Game-Winner In Milwaukee

You’d think Derrick Rose feels a little shortchanged this season for his lack of MVP talk. I mean, it’s understandable since the Bulls are so deep that they’re winning games whenever Rose is injured. But I don’t think that’s it. I think this kid is just so hungry to be a winner in this league that he’s killing nearly every point guard he comes across, especially Brandon Jennings. Whenever Jennings plays Rose, he gets torched; Every. Time. He’s just too small, not as strong and not as fast to keep up with Rose and it almost seems unfair.

In fact, according to basketball-reference.com, Jennings averages 13.2 points against Rose but shoots a horrid 36% from the floor (32% from 3s). As for Rose, he averages 21.7 points while shooting 47% from the floor. I hope you enjoyed watching the video above as much as I did. He broke Jennings off, big time.

Either Kris Humphries is still pissed off about Kim Kardashian using him, or his confidence is at an all-time high knowing that he once was smashing that. Either way, he was not having any of Blake Griffin’s postering tonight.

Video: Bulls Show Video Of Derrick Rose’ Legacy

Derrick Rose, the former league MVP, is easily the most liked player in the game. Sure, maybe some feel that he needs to enjoy himself more, especially after him stating that the All-Star game was no place for dancing (although it’s an event where you can relax and have fun), but Rose is who he is; He’s a shy, quiet kid from the streets of South Chicago. And although he’s the franchise player for the Chicago Bulls and the No. 1b point guard in the league (Chris Paul’s still the best), Rose isn’t going to change. No for anyone. He’s strictly business and takes the game of basketball very seriously, which, you always want from your star player.

Behind Rose’s 22.4 points per game and 7.7 assists, and missing 10 games, the Bulls are sitting at 32-8 — which, to me, makes them the best team in basketball — and put together a 30-second legacy video of their point guard for the season ticket waiting list, where Derrick has a pretty deep quote at the end.

Video: Rondo Misses The Easiest Shot Of His Career

I’ve defended Rondo constantly, but there’s nothing for me to argue about this one. Up by 2 with 14 seconds left, the Celtics come up with a steal and pass to Rondo, who is passed half-court, who ends up horribly missing a wide-open layup that would put Boston up by four and never have to go into OT with Houston. I don’t know if he thought his shot was going to get blocked or what but you can tell that he played it way too fast. It wasn’t even a lay-up, it looked like he just tossed it up there in a hurry. Those are the kind of blunders that make us forget about his 18, 17 and 20 performance against New York just 4 days ago.

Photos: SLAM Magazine Reveals Two Covers For Issue 157

*This cover is a remake of the original with Stephon Marbury and Kevin Garnett

The Minnesota Timberwolves aren’t playing around this year. They’re done with being the laughingstock of the NBA (which now belongs to the Charlotte Bobcats, despite they’re 20-point comeback win over Orlando on Tuesday). And the homies over at SLAM recognized that. Ricky Rubio, although struggling as of late, busted onto the scene and instantly became mentioned in Rookie of the Year talks. As for Kevin Love, well, he’s been destroying every power forward in the league on his way to becoming the best inside and out player in the game right now.

Just this past week, Love’s dropped 42 points and 10 rebounds on LaMarus Aldridge (pretty sure that damaged his pride) and 39 points to go along with 17 boards on Blake Griffin and the rest of his supposed “tough” frontline with DeAndre Jordan, Kenyon Martin and Reggie Evans. It’s time for everyone to step aside because Love is here to stay.

Jeremy Lin is an incredible story, except, he’s not really a story. He’s the real deal. A Harvard graduate and the second-coming off a Chauncey Billups type career during his early years in the NBA after he was bounced around by Houston and Golden State, Lin was given a chance in New York and never looked back. Against the Nets on February 4 (he did not start despite playing 35 minutes), Lin gave Deron Williams 25 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Fluke? Absolutely not. He led to Knicks on a 7-game win streak while averaging 24.4 points (He dropped 38 on Kobe and the Lakers!).

No matter how much we want to avoid it, but ever since Carmelo Anthony’s returned in the Knicks starting lineup, the Knicks have struggled. They’re not playing with the same excitement/swagger they once were when their best player was nursing a groin injury for two weeks. Anthony requires a lot of attention and a lot of time with the basketball, and he’s not a player who runs up and down on the court; he runs isolation plays. Melo’s having the worst year of his career and isn’t doing the things that New York traded their entire team for him to do, which is to take, and make, big shots.

Anthony may be the star, but Lin’s the one who revived New York.

Video: Kobe’s Buzzer-Beater Sends Lakers Into OT

Kobe struggled mightily Tuesday night against Detroit (8-of-26 for 22 points), but he hit, of course, a buzzer-beating shot over Tayshaun Prince to send the game into overtime. Bryant also pulled out the Jet Li black mask before switching back to the clear version. Peep Tayshaun’s defense, though. He played it perfectly.
