Kobe Bryant Does A 360 Dunk At His Camp

July 11, 2011 by

Kobe Bryant always finds a way to 1-up LeBron James at their respective summer camps. A few years ago when we had the Dunk-gate incident with Jordan Crawford, Kobe was seen at his basketball camp a few days later telling his campers “no ONE is going to dunk on me at MY own camp.”  Now days after LeBron was seen bulldozing and WSHH’ing one of his own tiny campers, Kobe is seen pleasing the crowd with a nice 360. Who said Kobe doesn’t have ups anymore?

Sorry Blake Griffin, but Glibert Arenas aka Jefe is the GREATEST celebrity / ballplayer planker of ALL TIME! The above isn’t your typical plank but it’s too funny not to post. After the jump check out Gil more formally planking in the park sprinklers, at the police station, and on top of a car…that’s driving through a car wash! LOL

Kemba Walker Signs A Shoe Deal With Under Armour

Doesn’t this make for an interesting storyline? Kemba Walker, who was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats, who is owned by Michael Jordan, has signed a sneaker deal with Under Armour. Kemba is a UConn via the Bronx kid who was always seen rocking Jordan’s on and off the court, but will now have to contractually wear Under Armour when he is playing ON the professional NBA court that Mr. Jordan, himself, owns.

UA is building a nice little stable of endorsed athletes…

Other athletes signed to promote Under Armour include Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, former Auburn quarterback Cam Newton, former Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin and Mets shortstop Jose Reyes.

LeBron James Dunks On A Little Kid At Camp

July 1, 2011 by

Watch the whole video. Towards the end, a kid misses his Knockout shot and is followed by LeBron missing his as well. LeBron then chases his ball down and goes and dunks it all over the kid who’s trying to hit a layup. I guess this is a better look for LeBron than what happened at the last time his name and “dunk” got mixed with “summer camp”. SMH at the camera man screaming WorldStar.

This Is What Happens When James Harden & JaVale McGee Play On The Same Team

Los Angeles’ Drew League is producing highlight after highlight, week after week. Last week it was fellow Oklahoma City Thunder Kevin Durant going off glass to himself and this week it’s James Harden throwing it up to JaVale McGee who crammed it on some sucker’s head. Is it just me or do you sense James Harden having a breakout year next season (if there is one)? I’m talking about him putting up respectable All-Star caliber numbers. Of course, that all relies on Russell “ballhog” Westbrook to pass it up every once in a while.
