I’m not exactly sure what Warner and Rick Ross had intentions to do with Pill, but it certainly wasn’t what he had hoped. They basically wasted dude’s time. Yes, he was put on the album, but what else? Like he stated in the video, Ross never pushed for anything of his the way that he did for Wale’s and Meek Mill’s. No where near it.

“I never really went on tour with them; I never really did anything with them,”

That’s the truest statement throughout the entire video. Pill is from the ‘A’ and that’s where he resides, but he never received any kind of invites to attend events. Yes, Ross is a “boss,” which in return makes it his job to make sure that his “employees” get those kinds of things.

Any chance Pill joins his four Freddie Gibbs over at C.T.E. (tell me that wouldn’t start some even more beef)?

Loso and DJ Drama return to the game to bury the competition in the latest installment of the mixtape series, There Is No Competition III: Death Comes In 3′s. Fab’s been quiet for the past few months but this tape will get him back in the hip hop elite conversations. Ross might live a gangster lifestyle, but he doesn’t forget about the kids and other folks that need help during the holidays. Peep Ross host his 6th annual food and toy giveaway at Scott Lake Park in Carol City, Fla with DJ Khaled, Stalley and Senator Oscar Braynon II after he shows you his Jay-Z knowledge in a Benz while cruisin’ passed his old middle school (Carol City) where he says, “That shit made a lot of real n*ggas boy .. goddamn.”

I’ll tell you guys one thing that’s for certain: A lot of rappers aren’t feelin‘ Drake. At all. I’m a fan of Drizzy’s and he’s certainly put out some hits but a lot of rappers who’ve been in the game for a long time don’t like his approach to hip hop, they think it’s too soft for what they’ve built. Maybe they’re right, but the times are also changing. When Common dropped the single “Sweet” from his latest album The Dreamer/The Believer, a few of his lyrics were interpreted as a jab at Drake:

“Yall n*ggas man, y’all soft motherf*ckers/Singing all around me man, la la la/ You ain’t motherf*cking Frank Sinatra/Uh, lil’ bitch…./Sweet ass motherf*cker.” ..

During a recent show in Las Vegas, Drake reportedly reacted to Common’s jab, saying, “I might sing, but I ain’t no bitch. If Common got something to say, say it to my face.”

Well, Drake’s manager (Noah Shebib) took it to his Twitter account when he first heard the diss:

In hip hop, this is out it goes: If guys hear something on a song and feel like it’s about them, then it usually is. You know what you do and how you sing or whatever the case may be, but I understand how it can come to somewhat of a surprise when it’s a diss out of nowhere (what’s up with Pusha T not liking Drake, anyway?). Common is a real rapper so I was actually kind of shocked when he decided to throw that out there. Is it because Drizzy’s on top or because he was with Serena Williams at one point? Who knows. Is there an artist out right now that’s hotter than Meek Mill and Wale? I’m not sure. J. Cole was hot for a while but ever since his album dropped, it’s been quite (his album wasn’t all that great). Drake? He’s still hot but not as demanding of more music as the Maybach artists.

The Philadelphia native, Meek Mill, had an interview with The Source and talked about the plans of doing a joint mixtape with Wale, despite them both being hot at the same time.

“Matter of fact, we were in the room just chilling, like playing freestyles for each other and just said let’s do a mixtape,” explained the MMG rapper. “We ain’t ego trippin’. We’re both hot at the same time and it’s only what makes sense and makes money.”

See, that’s what music should be about; putting all ego’s aside and making tracks for the fans to bob their heads too. Even Maybach Music president Rick Ross said he and Drake are planning on doing a joint tape as well entitled Y.O.L.O. One thing is for certain: Hip hop is hot right now.

Glad to see the homie Rozay back on his feet makin’ music. The Bawse is putting out video blogs (vlog) after taking some time off and traveling to Africa to do business. Ross lands in Johannesburg after an 18-hour flight (10-hour layover) and heads to the Palazzo Monte Casino Hotel to get ready for his first performance of the trip with Lil Wayne. He also speaks on French Montana’ s new deal with Bad Boy Records (Readers: do you think Ross want him on Maybach Music?) and his upcoming mixtape before he releases God Forgives, I Don’t in 2012.

I’ve always been of fan of Berg’. A lot of people don’t like him and I’m not really sure why but I don’t really see the problem. Does he spit untruthful rhymes in his tracks? I’m sure he does, but what rapper doesn’t? No rapper made a $1 million off of flipping white, you ain’t no Sam Hurd. Peep this video where Berg goes 1-on-1 with DJ Whoo Kid where it’s pretty obvious that he’s matured since he’s entered the game and his music is a lot better.

I’ve been writing for the site for a little over 3 months now and I’m sure you all know how I feel about Common; dude is the best, seriously. He doesn’t get nearly as enough credit as he should and he’s easily the most underrated artist in hip hop. I’ll admit that this wasn’t his best freestyle I’ve heard, but I’ve also never heard him spit rhymes for 5 minutes straight with no water break.

One of the realest rappers in the game, and possibly ever, is Jeezy. I mean, shit, how can you not say this dude isn’t real or doesn’t do the things he preaches that he does? After all, he was on an episode of “Gangland.” It’s the world!
