Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Album Covers #1 & #2)

After THIS My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album cover got “banned,” Kanye West annouced that he will be releasing 5, yes 5, different album covers for his upcoming CD dropping on November 22nd.  Here are the first two that have leaked and been confirmed.  I wonder how the distribution channels will be for each of the 5 artworks.

KiD CuDi – Man on The Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager (Tracklist)

Pictured above is the deluxe album’s artwork that’s only difference from the original is that there’s a different galaxy behind Scott.  The album officially drops on November 9th and includes appearances from Kanye West, Mary J. Blige, Cee-Lo, Chip Tha Ripper, GLC, Cage, and others.  The majority of the production is handled by Emile but Dot Da Genius, Jim Jonson, Chuck Inglish, and a couple other producers do lend KiD CuDi a beat or two.  The complete tracklist is below:

Banned: Kanye West – My Dark Twisted Fantasy (Album Cover)

Kanye West isn’t scared of controversy as he sparked some up by earlier today posting this banned album cover on his Twitter account.  Did he really think that corporate America would let My Dark Twisted Fantasy sit on store shelves looking like this?!

In other Yeezy news, his upcoming 35-minute Runaway film is set to premiere on Saturday (10/23) simultaneously on MTV, MTV2, MTV.com, BET, BET.com and VH1 at 8pm EST standard time.

Lupe Fiasco – “Lasers” Album Releasing 3/8/11

After some rants on Twitter, some fans protesting, and record label’s being stubborn – a positive mutual agreement finally came between Lupe Fiasco and Atlantic Records to release the highly anticipated Lasers album on March 3rd, 2011.  Any Lasers news is good news and this one came straight from Lupe’s blog.

Kanye West – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy Album Title Confirmed

It’s official – Kanye West’s next album will be titled My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.  Yeezy confirmed it on his Twitter this morning along with the news that a few of the G.O.O.D. Friday releases will be on the CD, the opening track is called Dark Fantasy (co-produced by RZA, Kanye, and No I.D.), and All of The Lights is the next single. I don’t know about you but this is easily my most anticipated album for the rest of the year.

Kanye West & Jay-Z’s “Watch The Throne EP” Releasing On 11/23

If you remember when Kanye leaked Monster as his first G.O.O.D. Friday release, he also announced that him and big brother Jay-Z would be releasing a 5 song EP called Watch The Throne. Yesterday, Fake Shore Drive, broke some news that this EP will drop on November 23rd:

Per an inside source, Ye and Jay’s collaborative EP, Watch The Throne, is scheduled to drop on November 23rd, 2010.  Rumor has it the EP will be released via Def Jam, but I have no confirmation at this time.

Also, I’ve been told the first official single is “Monster”, with the second single coming in two weeks.  There are also plans to shoot a video for “Monster” in the very near future.

Gucci Mane – The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted Tracklist

September 28th and Gucci Mane is back on the shelves (and iTunes stores) with his new album The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted.  I personally think he should of rolled with America’s Most Wanted as it’s more catchy but whatever.  The new album is a lot lighter on the features that his last CD as this one only has Bun B, Swizz Beatz, Ray J (seriously?), Nicki Minaj, Pharrell, Wyclef Jean, and Estelle.  Check out the full tracklist below:
