Is Ivy Blue Carter (Jay & Beyonce’s Baby Girl) Named After The Illuminati?!

By now you’ve heard that Jay-Z and Beyonce had their first child together over the weekend and they named their baby girl Ivy Blue Carter. The name is a little nontraditional so of course you can leave it up to the internetz to begin the rumors and speculations.
The logical speculation: Ivy is in reference to the Roman numeral IV (4) as that is Hov and Bey’s favorite number. They were both born of the 4th of their respective months, Beyonce even named her latest album 4, and they were married on the 4th. And then Blue is in reference to Jay’s favorite color (my favorite hue is Jay-Z blue, the Yankees are navy blue, and he named so many of his albums Blueprint).
The Illuminati speculation: well just see the Tweet below…
Photo: Oregon’s LaMichael James’ Terrified Of Roller Coasters

Does this photo really need an explanation? I remember my first roller coaster. The funniest part about this entire thing is that LaMichael James’ teammate, Kenjon Barner, was the one who posted this via his Twitter account to let the world know that despite being fearless on the field, James is absolutely terrified of tons and tons of steel doing loops at 60 MPH.
Photo: Source Magazine Names Rick Ross “Man of the Year,” Big Sean Earns Himself “Rookie of the Year” Award

After Drake was featured on their last issue, Source Magazine decided to give props to easily the most successful artist this year, Rick Ross, by naming him their Man of the Year (Seriously, find me a better magazine cover than this. I dare you. Rick Ross is the only dude on planet earth that can look dope with a Big Bird fur coat on his back).
From Source:
In his first detailed magazine interview since his shocking seizures, Man of the Year Rick Ross opens up about his near fatal experience. “I went and seen an actual neurologist to tell me what was really going on. My condition was basically extreme exhaustion,” says the boss, “…it was a real eye-opener for me.”
That’s work of a real boss.
As for G.O.O.D. Music’ artist Big Sean, he was named Rookie of the Year and opened up in the magazine about his success, beef with other rappers (Ludacris), and a sexual harassment suit that was against him earlier in the year. Peep his first major cover after the jump.
Jeezy Speaks On Thug Motivation 101 First Leaking & TM103 Leaking Early

When I told y’all Jeezy — and a few others — is a real rapper, I mean that what he says, he does or mean (ever see the video of him walking down South Beach showing his glock encase any of Rick Ross’ homies tries to run up on him?). Jeezy used to ride with guys like Big Meech (Wikipedia if you’re unfamiliar) and was also featured on Gangland; a TV series on Spike that talks about different gangs throughout the states. During his latest interview with Vibe Magazine, Jizzle speaks on how he almost shot and killed a studio intern for being the one that leaked his first studio album (TM101) 6 days early:
“Yeah it was a big deal but I tell anybody when you put your life on the line and you work hard and you do your research, and do your work and you put an album together that’s something special to you, and when somebody does that it feels like you’ve been robbed,” says Jeezy while recalling the leak of TM101.
“And I, for one, ain’t the type to get robbed. I don’t play that shit, you know, I take that very seriously and I seen people get killed for less,” he adds.
Talk about lucking out .. Don’t forget about when he sent on of his goons after Gucci Mane, which resulted in Gucci getting the drop on him and the police later finding a 27-year-old Henry Lee Clark III dead. Now, more than six years since the original leaked; Jeezy, again (just not as violent), gave his take on his final installment of Thug Motivation being leaked:
“It’s just a crazy time in music because I remember when there was a time when we couldn’t wait just to go in the store and buy [an album] so I don’t understand, what’s the rush?,” Jeezy tells VIBE. “I mean you can’t rush greatness if something comes out and somebody puts hard work into it and you’re a fan of it you should want to purchase it and support him. It’s not about the money to me, it’s about the act you know — pulling up to the mall, getting out your car and actually going to buy something that you dig, that you feel is worth it.”
I personally enjoyed TM103 but I thought it would have been a lot harder than what it showed. It didn’t really go out with a big enough “bang” so-to-speak. I’ve been an avid listener of Jeezy’s for a longtime now and although I did cheat and download the leaked tape, I’m still going to hit up Best Buy on the 20th.
Tim Tebow Covers January Issue Of Sports Illustrated

Hate him or love him — I know I love him, he’s the greatest Gator in the history of Florida — you can’t deny that the kid is a winner (he was the first sophomore in college history to ever win the Heisman Trophy for God sake). He now has a whopping 7-1 record since taking over as the Denver Broncos QB, having come from behind in five of the seven wins, including three they pulled out in overtime. Tebow has been terrific leading his team in the last minutes of games, but the Bronco’ defense has been stout: they’ve surrendered 15 or fewer points in five of the last eight games, and despite having veterans like Champ Bailey and Brian Dawkins on the squad, it has been rookie Von Miller (62 tackles, 12 sacks) that sparks the energy and has arguably already won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
This is now Tebow’s sixth SI cover (5 with Florida), lets just hope this doesn’t put a curse on him this Sunday against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. But who am I kidding? A curse on Tim Tebow? That’s like saying Kim Kardashian will stop sleeping with athletes.

YMCMB continues their world domination by introducing their Young Money Discover (Debit) Card. It’s pretty much exactly the same as any other debit card but of course you’ll be the coolest kid on the block (*sarcasm*) when your paying for your purchase and you bust out your red and black debit card with the YM logo on it.

American Speed Skating Olympian Apolo Ohno is the newest Got Milk? endorser. Actually, he’s the Got Lowfat Chocolate Milk? endorser. Also included in this new “Refuel America’ campaign is Shawn Johnson and Chris Bosh.
Numerous published studies have indicated that lowfat chocolate milk is effective in helping the body refuel and replenish after strenuous exercise. Whether you’re a gym rat, power walker, varsity athlete, competition swimmer or even a coach/trainer, we know that if you get active then you’re committed to getting the most of any practice or workout. But is there more you could be doing to refuel your body post-workout? When it comes to performing at the highest level, an athlete’s post-game recovery routine is just as important as their pre-game prep. Experts suggest there’s a two-hour recovery window—the best time to refuel and rehydrate your body to keep it in top shape and help you get back in the game.
