Not particularly happy that baseball has started because that just means the downfall of SportsCenter begins now. And although I’m not a Yankees fan at all (I grew up in Brookline, MA), it was cool to see CC Sabathia rocked some fire Jordans to the court pitching mound for some MLB Opening Day action against the Detroit Pistons. Jordan Brand posted that picture above earlier in the day and after the jump you can see Sabathia rocking the Concord Cleats in action.

Visually, this year’s Air Max’s are the best design in years, of course in my opinion. I’ve heard they’re also on par with the best as far as comfort but I haven’t tried them on yet. Hopefully, I change that around soon and finally get to picking myself up a pair. With so many great colorways, I will soon enough. Hit the jump for another angle.

Just in time for Spring and Summer, Nike Sportswear drops this new colorway of their Air Max 95′s called Bright Mandarin. New York City is notorious for AM 95 wearers so I’m sure I’ll be seeing plenty of this pair on the sidewalks as the weather gets nicer.

I saw this talked about online a few days ago but couldn’t find a good video of it. Well, here it is. Watch as some UNC players see The G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan and ask for some pairs of the Air Jordan XI – Cool Grey’s. The legend jokingly tells the youngsters that they can have ANYTHING in the Jordan Brand vaults as long as they don’t wear the Nike Zoom Kobe VI’s and make it to the Final Four.

In less important news, Nike is raising prices across the board due to the rising cost of cotton, oil, and transportation which is squeezing their profit margin. AKA not good news for us regular folks who wear adore Nike like we’ll adore our first born kids (that might have to be past tense for some of you). Hopefully the price’s don’t rise too much because that just means the resellers are just going to even go harder and higher on their prices than before. Time to start saving up that cash in those shoeboxes!
