XXL Magazine – Freshmen ‘10 Live Concert

What better way to get to know the 2010 freshmen hip hop class than at a live concert?  DJ Envy will be hosting the event that’s going down on Wednesday March 31st at 9PM at New York City’s The Highline Ballroom.  Nipsey Hussle, Pill, Jay Rock, Donnis, Big Sean, and Freddie Gibbs are already scheduled to perform but don’t be surprised if any of the other four freshmen make a surprise appearance.

Diddy’s NBA All Star Game Weekend Parties

This NBA All Star Game weekend has more events going down in Dallas, Texas than one can keep track off.  One event that you should check out if you got the time on Friday is at the House of Blues between 3-6pm.  Stop by that afternoon and check out some of the hottest sneaker collections from DJ Clark Kent, Mayor, DJ Greg Street, and other celebrities and athletes.

Paid Dues Festival 2010 Lineup

The 5th annual Paid Dues Festival is going down this year on Saturday April 3rd at the Nos Event Center in San Bernardino, California.  The acts range from Ice Cube, Murs, 9th Wonder, Tech N9ne, Raekwon, Jay Electronica, Dilated Peoples, Curren$y, Freeway, and a whole lot more.  Their should be at least one artist any hip hop head would want to see on that list so get more info at the Guerrila Union website.

Sprite Step Off – New York City 1/30/10

Sprite has been recently touring the country with the largest national step competition and is having it’s final rounds at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom on January 30, 2010.  If you don’t want to see the stepping, at least attend the event for the Ludacris and Wale performances.
