I saw an Eastbound And Down Season 3 ad on the subway yesterday and got hyped! Kenny Powers is back on HBO (February 19th at 10 PM EST) and he’s back in good ol’ America, has a new baseball team, and it should be a good one!

This news made my day, and even my entire week!

Goodfellas, one of the greatest movies of the 90′s and easily my favorite flick of all-time, was directed by the great Martin Scorsese and according to Sound On Sight, AMC is making room for the former mob film to hit the TV screen.The movie featured some of the greatest actors ever in the prime with Joe Pesci (who won a Grammy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role), Robert De Niro, and Ray Liota

For those who aren’t familiar, here’s how Goodfellas got started and will continue:

The film itself was an adaptation, lifted from the 1986 non-fiction book Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scorsese. For the unfamiliar, the story follows the rise and fall of Lucchese crime family associates Henry Hill and his friends over a period from 1955 to 1980. According to Deadline, Pileggi is back on board to co-write the series adaptation with TV writer-producer Jorge Zamacona (Homicide: Life On The Street).

Boardwalk Empire already takes the cake for the best gangster series on television at the moment, but if Scorsese decides to direct a few episodes, Steve Buscemi might be out of a job. There’s no word yet on when the filming will start, but lets pray for sooner rather than later, shall we?

Charles Barkley hosted Saturday Night Live last night and from these two clips that I’ve seen, he absolutely KILLED it! I briefly saw on Twitter that he did a real good job so I’m trying to find any other clips and if he did a monologue to see so myself. Season 1 was GREAT and Season 2 was okay but regardless, Kenny Muthafu*kin’ Powers is back for Season 3 of Eastbound & Down premiering only on HBO on February 19th.

Diddy’s put out some solid commercials for his personal vodka, Ciroc. For this one he’s chosen to squad up with a few actors, who look as if they’re going to mob someone. The video features actors Jesse Williams (Grey’s Anatomy (Dr. Jackson Avery) and Chad Michael Murray (One Tree Hill, House of Wax).

Most people might not know, but rapper Joe Budden knows his sports. Seriously. If you follow him on Twitter then you’d know what I mean. Sometimes people ask him questions as if he were an ESPN Insider, ha. Joe had some nice arguments against Skips and Stephen A., which, as most should know by now, are hard guys to get a word in against.

LOL at the #1 thought! If you didn’t know, David Letterman hosts a tradition of getting famous people to come on his show and give 10 thoughts about something that’s relevant to that celeb’s life. In this case, it’s Baylor Quarterback and the newest member of the prestigious Heisman Trophy Winner’s Club, Robert Griffin III.

Side note – doesn’t he look a lot like a young Andre 3000?!

Damn! That’s all I have to say after watching this video. First things first, Kim Kardashian is super fine and Kris will never get another chick that bad but damn, homie, talk about speaking your mind .. ha. All do respect to Kris though, Kim does look like she’d be hard to deal and live with.
