This Will Make You Want To Snowboard: The Art of FLIGHT

Similar to that video that made me want to skydive, THIS video makes me want to snowboard. Although I’ve already taken a huge L on my first time snowboarding, this stuff looks SICK. Of course these snowboarders are all amped up on Redbull (the movie’s sponsor) or some other crazy stuff. There’s no way there jumping / boarding off that helicopter sober…

The Art of FLIGHT follows Travis Rice, John Jackson, Mark Landvik, Scotty Lago, Jake Blauvelt, Nicolas Muller, Gigi Ruf, DCP and Pat Moore as they dream up new global adventures and progress the sport to unimaginable levels.

Brain Farm has gathered an arsenal of the most advanced and progressive film making technology to bring the masses a snowboarding adventure of epic proportions. Filmed on location in Jackson Hole, Alaska, Chile, Aspen, Patagonia, British Columbia and more, FLIGHT brings the viewer along for the perfect blend of adventure/travel drama and high-energy snowboarding action. The Art of FLIGHT releases September 2011.

Donald Trump Is NOT Running For President

May 16, 2011 by
Filed under Entertainment, Miscellaneous, Stories, TV

Donald Trump has officially announced that he will NOT run for President of The United States. It looks like someone talked some sense into him or President Obama’s ether hit him right in the heart. Stick to hosting The Apprentice, Donald! If you care to read his official statement backing out of presidency, I’ve posted it after the jump.

“After considerable deliberation and reflection, I have decided not to pursue the office of the Presidency. This decision does not come easily or without regret; especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country. I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run, I would be able to win the primary and ultimately, the general election. I have spent the past several months unofficially campaigning and recognize that running for public office cannot be done half heartedly. Ultimately, however, business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.

Statement continued after the jump.

I want to personally thank the millions of Americans who have joined the various Trump grassroots movements and written me letters and e-mails encouraging me to run. My gratitude for your faith and trust in me could never be expressed properly in words. So, I make you this promise: that I will continue to voice my opinions loudly and help to shape our politician’s thoughts. My ability to bring important economic and foreign policy issues to the forefront of the national dialogue is perhaps my greatest asset and one of the most valuable services I can provide to this country. I will continue to push our President and the country’s policy makers to address the dire challenges arising from our unsustainable debt structure and increasing lack of global competitiveness. Issues, including getting tough on China and other countries that are methodically and systematically taking advantage of the United States, were seldom mentioned before I brought them to the forefront of the country’s conversation. They are now being debated vigorously. I will also continue to push for job creation, an initiative that should be this country’s top priority and something that I know a lot about. I will not shy away from expressing the opinions that so many of you share yet don’t have a medium through which to articulate.

I look forward to supporting the candidate who is the most qualified to help us tackle our country’s most important issues and am hopeful that, when this person emerges, he or she will have the courage to take on the challenges of the Office and be the agent of change that this country so desperately needs.”

Thank you and God Bless America!
Donald J. Trump

I can’t believe I’m giving props to Nick Cannon but he’s actually done a good job with MTV in executive producing Son of A Gun and making it a good show. Hopefully Cory Gunz can thrive off of this show and make some serious power moves after. He’s got the talent, he just needs that exposure and hopefully this is it.

News: Ashton Kutcher And A Half Men

May 12, 2011 by

CBS officials are slowly leaking the news that Ashton Kutcher will be replacing Charlie Sheen as the lead actor in the hit sitcom Two And A Half Men. Kutcher has over 6.7 million followers on Twitter and I’m sure a solid amount of those followers will tune in to see Kutcher star in his first TV sitcom since FOX’s That 70′s Show. Who’s #winning now – Charlie Sheen and his wild solo cowboys antics or CBS who will proceed with their show and Ashton Kutcher?

Jimmy Fallon Finds The Secret NBC 30 Rock Floor – Jersey Floor

You WILL get a kick out of this! Watch as Jimmy Fallon, Questlove, the rest of his late night staff, and even special guests Tina Fey and Amy Poehler discover the secret elevator button inside of the NBC 30 Rock building that takes them to the Jersey Floor.  As you would imagine, everyone on the Jersey Floor is orange, wear’s cool graphic t-shirts, and has ton of hair products. This is easier one of the better Jersey Shore spoofs that I’ve seen in their two or three years of existence. Watch the full episodes HERE.

This is what Space Jam would have looked like if it starred LeBron James rather than Michael Jordan. Watch as James turns his back on his Toon Squad friends and joins forces with The Monstars. Make sure you watch until the very end to catch the Jamario Moon cameo.

The League: Season 3 To Air In September

May 9, 2011 by

Season 2 of The League was awesome so I’m not expecting anything less than awesome for Season 3. If the NFL season is still on a lockout come September – does the show act accordingly? Will they still have a Fantasy draft? Will it be for CFL teams and players? We’ll find out in September. In the meantime, The League’s official Facebook page posted the above photo and caption…

Spent the day with the cast shooting Season 3 promos yesterday and showed them some special features from the Season 2 DVD. Notice how shocked Ruxin looks. You’ll find out why in September… It will be worth the wait!

Watch: Lady Gaga – The Monster Ball Tour (HBO Special)

It doesn’t matter if you like Lady Gaga or not but the girl artist is here to stay. In her short but relative career she’s already made herself not only a household name but a worldwide pop icon and brand. And her performances are always out of this world and top notch. HBO aired this special last night of concert footage from The Monster Ball Tour and made it pretty cool and documentary esque.  Even Floyd Mayweather was excited to watch the special! Hit the jump for part two.
