2K Sports out does themselves year after year, even to the point where their competition just quits mid-development (EA Sports NBA Live series was cancelled for the second time in a year just weeks before their game’s release date). While the NBA season kicks off in about 30 days, NBA 2K13 will hold off all you hoop junkies for the time being. Game is out today. Go cop it!
ASAP Rocky, Snoop Lion (Dogg), Andrew Luck and Lionel Messi are all part of FIFA 13′s new campaign. Join the club next Tuesday September 25th…
S/O the good folks at College Humor…
2K Sports drops NBA 2K13 on October 2nd.
Nike Football and EA Sports is bringing a 2nd “The Chase” to New York City but this time it is entitled “Chasing Calvin”. The digital Twitter powered scavenger hunt throughout NYC will give the 4 fastest participants the opportunity to claim and win some dope prizes (see flyer above). The event starts at 9AM this Saturday at Niketown, New York (6 E. 57th St) as participants will need to register and then promptly after registration, @NikeNYC will tweet out the clues and locations to win. Four prize packs are up for grabs and they come in a limited edition exclusive package.
My favorite player of all-time gets a dope spot in the new Madden ’13 visual.
To all the Gears of War fans out there, the trailer to the prequel of G.O.W 1 – “Judgement” – dropped today and it looks ill. Baird is on trial for one reason or another, but in the trailer, he seemed awfully pleased with being put in chains as the lead role given his comical role in the previous games. Prequels don’t always live up to the hype and it’s going to be extremely hard to top the first three (especially with Baird as the main character).
The wait is finally over. Just announced today, Pro-Bowl wide receiver Calvin Johnson – aka Megatron – will be the face of the upcoming Madden ’13 cover. In 16 games last season for the Lions, Johnson amassed 96 receptions for 1,681 receiving yards and 16 touchdowns. It really doesn’t seem like he’s been in the league since ’07, has it?
How crazy is that cover? With the NFL draft coming up and RG3 expected to be drafted somewhere in the Top 5, his recent NCAA ’13 cover — featuring former Heisman trophy winner and Hall of Fame running back, Barry Sanders — was released today (10 days before the April 26 draft day). The reason Sanders is featured on the cover as well is because EA Sports held a fan voting page to decide who they wanted to see on the this year’s cover. You can read more about the voting, and the decision, after the jump.

Halo or Call of Duty? Does the Halo videogame series still reign supreme? I haven’t touched an Xbox 360 Controller in years…
