Rare Video: Allen Iverson And Carmelo Anthony Celebrate After Beating The Lakers (2007)

This might be the greatest find in the history of YouTube finds.

I happened to come across this after seeing what happened between Andre Iguodala and the homie Carmelo Anthony in Wednesday nights game between the Knicks and Sixers, where Iggy got tangled up with ‘Melo and ended up pissing him off the rest of the night so he dropped 27 on him.

As for the video, this is extremely rare and I’ve never seen it on another blog.

This was back somewhere between the ’06, ’07 and ’08 seasons when ‘Melo and Allen Iverson were teammates in Denver. According to the info section, this came after the Nuggets had defeated Kobe Bryant and the Lakers, which follows with A.I. and ‘Melo using foul language in a car before heading out to a few clubs. The aftermath, where Anthony is standing around blatantly drunk, is just him talking about players on the team such as Nene (who got rid of “Porno Honey” LOL) and how teams don’t want to meet Denver in the playoffs (damn, we came up short).

It’s not very often we see what players are like outside the game, but we already know how Iverson was and probably still is, but this was also before ‘Melo had his child and has matured greatly since. I mean, just look at what he’s wearing in this video and how he dresses now. It’s a complete 360.

Michigan State’s Nick Hill Has The Illest Tattoo On Earth

Before I get into too much detail, I want to start off by saying that the movie ’300′ is in my Top 5 favorite flicks of all-time and King Leonidas might be the best character ever featured on the big screen. Period. As for Michigan State redshirt freshman running back Nick Hill, he just might have the illest tattoo on planet earth ..

From Graham Watson of Dr. Saturday:

Hill’s design is simple. It’s a Spartan straight out of the movie “300″ and runs the length of Hill’s right oblique. The menacing Spartan has a helmet, cape, spear, shield and loin armor. It even has clouds as a bit of an accent to make the whole thing look quite artistic. The thing had to cost a fortune because the detail is immaculate right down to the adornments on the loin armor. It also had to be unbelievably painful.

I couldn’t have said it any better myself.

‘Goodfellas’ Series In The Works For AMC

This news made my day, and even my entire week!

Goodfellas, one of the greatest movies of the 90′s and easily my favorite flick of all-time, was directed by the great Martin Scorsese and according to Sound On Sight, AMC is making room for the former mob film to hit the TV screen. The movie featured some of the greatest actors ever in the prime with Joe Pesci (who won a Grammy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role), Robert De Niro, and Ray Liota

For those who aren’t familiar, here’s how Goodfellas got started and will continue:

The film itself was an adaptation, lifted from the 1986 non-fiction book Wiseguy by Nicholas Pileggi, who co-wrote the screenplay with Scorsese. For the unfamiliar, the story follows the rise and fall of Lucchese crime family associates Henry Hill and his friends over a period from 1955 to 1980. According to Deadline, Pileggi is back on board to co-write the series adaptation with TV writer-producer Jorge Zamacona (Homicide: Life On The Street).

Boardwalk Empire already takes the cake for the best gangster series on television at the moment, but if Scorsese decides to direct a few episodes, Steve Buscemi might be out of a job. There’s no word yet on when the filming will start, but lets pray for sooner rather than later, shall we?

Charles Barkley hosted Saturday Night Live last night and from these two clips that I’ve seen, he absolutely KILLED it! I briefly saw on Twitter that he did a real good job so I’m trying to find any other clips and if he did a monologue to see so myself. Check these two clips out and enjoy a laugh courtesy of Sir Charles.

Stifler’s back! No, not as the horny American Pie favorite (not ’til April, at least), this time he’s back as an outcast from his brainy family and ends up going from a bouncer to a minor-league hockey bruiser. I think this could turn out to be a pretty hilarious flick, peep the cast: Sean William Scott, Eugene Levy (dad from American Pie), and Liev Schrieber (played Sabertooth in X-Men Origins: Wolverine). This is expected in theaters January 6, 2012.

Liam Neeson is one of the greatest actors on the planet right now and his newest movie,’The Grey’, trailer just dropped over the weekend and produces a pretty dope story line: (Plot: In Alaska, an oil drilling team struggle to survive after a plane crash strands them in the wild. Hunting the humans are a pack of wolves who see them as intruders.) Peep the video to see Neeson take on a pack of hungry wolves with miniature broken vodka bottles strapped to his knuckles. Now tell me, how dope is that?
