Preview: Nike’s 2012 NFL Pro Combat Jersey
This photo leaked yesterday and rumors are these will be the Patriots uniforms for 2012. I am not sure how true this is because Reebok has the exclusive manufacturing rights for NFL apparel until 2012 and I couldn’t find anything official from the NFL stating that Nike would take over. Personally, I don’t like the Nike one.
**UPDATE** Nike will take over the NFL Apparel contract once it runs out with Reebok in April 2012. Huge hit for Reebok, whose current deal is 10 years for $250 million. It is speculated that the Nike deal is 5 years for $175 million ($35 million per year) . The jersey shown is just a proposal dubbed “Pro Combat Jersey”, but nothing has been approved yet (thank god!).
Bride-To-Be Paralyzed During Bachelorette Party

This story is a prime example of the saying “It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt,” or in this case, paralyzed. Rachel Friedman was partying on her last night of being a single woman when her best friend (and bridesmaid) pushed her into the shallow end of a pool. Friedman, who is only 25, snapped her neck and became paralyzed from the chest down. To make matters worse, the insurance company is preventing Friedman from getting married so she cannot receive coverage under her fiances plan. Friedman is said to be in good spirits, saying that everything happens for a reason and she still thinks her life is perfect. Hopefully she can keep that positive attitude.

Eva Longoria Files For Divorce
Eva Longoria has filed for divorce from San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker on Wednesday. There are reports of infidelity by Parker and rumors are swirling around that it was with former teammate and current ESPN analyst Brent Barry’s wife, Erin. Eva’s good friend, Mario Lopez, reported that hundreds of texts were found on Tony’s phone from a mutual female friend. Sports Illustrated writer, Byran Armen Graham, is the one who broke the news that the texts were from Erin Barry. Longoria broke her silence Wednesday night by tweeting the following statement,
“It is with great sadness that after 7 years together, Tony and I have decided to divorce. We love each other deeply and pray for each other’s happiness.”
Unfortunately for Tony and Eva, you know they will get no privacy from the media, but that is the price of fame.
What Is The Value of Herpes To A Millionaire?

(Dave Chappelle & gang explains the dangers of herpes!)
And the answer is: $2.4 million! This at least according to a Beverly Hills jury, who ordered real estate investor George Saadian (whose net worth is a cool $23 million) to pay his soon to be ex-wife gold digger for infecting her with the STD. George got off easy though, a similar case last year in California awarded $6.7 million to a woman gold digger who claimed she was infected with herpes from a wealthy business-man. This is a pitiful attempt to scheme on these women’s gold digger’s behalf, and from all of us @ We All Scheme, we do not condone nor affiliate with this type of scheming! Keep it kosher people!!

Throwback Saturday: Noreaga – Superthug

This week I am going with one my favorite underrated rappers, Noreaga. For some reason, I never knew this song was produced by Pharrell, but it makes sense now because it definitely sounds like his earlier work. Superthug was released back in ’98 off of Noreaga’s N.O.R.E. album. Enjoy!
