Jeezy – folks keep forgetting he dropped the “Young” – continues his European Invasion in London on the Hustlers Ambition tour. He turns a club upside down. Destroys his show at IndigoO2 and shows us all why the summer is his.
Although Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is only 23 years old (turns 24 in July), Philadelphia has to be careful to not overwork the kid for A) his health, and B) because the Eagles drafted two running backs despite their main focus supposedly being on the defensive side of the ball. The Eagles picked Kansas State’s Bryce Brown in the seventh round, and signed Washington’s Chris Polk as an undrafted free agent (their draft stock plummeted because of concerns). And despite there being no guarantee that they stay on Philadelphia’s roster all season long, but it’s more than likely they will, especially because of head coach Andy Reid‘s comments earlier today about the possibility of LeSean seeing a reduced role.

I’m not sure what’s going on during these playoff games but, it’s certainly not good. First the Bulls more than likely lost Derrick Rose for the rest of the playoffs after he suffered a left knee injury during their win over the 76ers. And just two hours later, Knicks rookie Iman Shumpert suffered the exact same injury and is also more than likely to be done for the rest of the playoffs. Hopefully no one else ends up getting hurt.
The worst injuries are the one’s where there is no contact, and that’s exactly what happened to Derrick Rose during Chicago’s victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Up 99-87 with 1:30 left in the fourth quarter – don’t know why he was still in the game – Rose did his little “hop-along” crossover move and his left knee gave-way after the landing and collapsed in midair. There’s still no word on what exactly happened but, according to various Twitter accounts, the former MVP is heading the hospital for an MRI.
When “Knocked Up” first came out back in ’07, the world was filled with laughter. And just today, – thanks to Complex Magazine for the find – the trailer for “This Is 40” was released. In “Knocked Up,” the film displayed Pete (Paul Rudd) and Debbie (Leslie Mann) as they struggled with their marriage and well, getting older. Mann’s husband, Judd Apatow, decided to use that genius mind of his and create a spinoff of the film to create one based strictly on Pete and Debbie’s life as they deal with being 40. There will also be supporting roles and cameos from Jason Segal and Megan Fox. The film is set to release on December 21.
Serious question: How many of you actually pay attention to what a point guard does once his team wins the opening tip-off battle? Probably none. Lucky for us, – thanks to Deadspin for finding this – there’s a die hard Celtics fan out there who put together a 4-minute video of Rajon Rondo’s tip-off antics. The crazy thing is, he never does the same thing twice. Either I’m bored, or this is just a remarkable find. Enjoy!
On Thursday, Jadakiss dropped his mixtape – hosted by DJ Drama – called “Consignment” and let my start by saying that there are a lot of bangers on this tape. With guest features like Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Ace Hood, French Montana, Wale, Styles P and Gucci Mane, how could it not end up being a banger?
You can download the tape here.
Is it me, or does Nicki get sexier every time she drops a music video?

What could be more heart-wrenching than officially being the worst team in NBA history? How about when your supposed “shot-blocker” and “future All-Star” in Tyrus Thomas, gets a ball in the face from Amar’e?
