Val Kilmer’s played in some great movies during his time as a once popular actor in the 90′s before disappearing from the acting scene and putting on weight. From movies like “Batman,” “Heat,” “Tombstone” and “Top Gun,” Kilmer’s ready to revive his career as one of the most popular characters in American History: Mark Twain (born Samuel Langhorne Clemens).
Although the above photo is just a getup for his play, “Citizen Twain,” Yahoo! reports that it’s just a preparation for the film “Mark Twain and Mary Baker Eddy.” Twain’s well-known for his writing and being a humorist, but Mary Baker Eddy is the founder of Christian science, who, also according to Yahoo!, was loved by Twain because of her views. As previously stated, Kilmer has not been involved in any major films for a while now which led to his financial troubles being published, but it turns out Kilmer ended up selling his home in New Mexico to pay for the film himself.
