This is what everyone’s waiting for! The big Jordan Brand retro comes every Holiday season and for 2011 it’s the Concord 11′s. ModernNotoriety is usually on point with the pictures they post so this could very well be what we’ll see come November / December. The soles don’t look as icy as they should be (a little too blue) but I’m sure that won’t hold any buyers back.
This Saturday, Sneaker CON will be headed to Miami and then next Saturday and Sunday they’ll be taking their sneaker event management talents up to the nation’s capital of Washington D.C. All the information you need to know is on this flyer and the other flyer after the jump.
In a continuation to dumb down their content, MTV is bringing back Beavis And Butthead this year. I was a little too young for the couple seasons but now that it’s 2011, I might tune in because lord knows I love my dumb MTV shows (Jersey Shore, The Challenge, etc.)

For everyone in NYC, I’m passing on this info for a charity movie event being held at the AMC Loews Theater in Lincoln Square on August 10th at 7:00 PM. It’s $15 for adults and $10 for children and the price includes a movie ticket as well as a gift bag (the value of the gift bag is more than the price of the ticket!). The event is being held by law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges and 100% of all proceeds go towards St. Jude’s Research Hospital. You can buy tickets or donate here, so check it out and get some “free” stuff! They’re not allowed to say the name of the movie in advertising so I’ll give you a few hints: Katy Perry and the color blue.
While I wish that I was at the Jeezy concert last night, this Wiz Khalifa and Big Sean concert on the Central Park Summer Stage wasn’t a bad 2nd option at all. Both artists are on the come up and have had great years. Big Sean opened for Wiz and went through a few mixtape cuts before jumping into his new songs from Finally Famous: The Album. Not long after Big Sean cleared the stage, Wiz came out and ran through everything from Rolling Papers, Kush & Orange Juice, Cabin Fever, and even older stuff. Big Sean also joined him on stage for Gangbang. Hit the jump for some more of the better performance videos I found on YouTube.
